In 1940 Hitler ordered the extermination of all unwanted people, i.e. people ill and unable to work for more than five years. After all, they were just “evolutionary products of random chance.” Jesus sees life differently. He who created us died for us while we were still sinners and restored God’s image in us. The good life is caring for all human life.
