The disciples saw, touched, heard and walked with Jesus. His ascension changed everything—for the better! The disciples at first wondered how it could be better as they stood paralyzed, gazing into the sky when Jesus was taken up (Acts 1). Paul explains: “He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe” (Ephesians 4:10).
