Based on a Korean War medical team, M.A.S.H.’s theme song begins with the words “Suicide is painless.” It presents a low view of our physical body. However our body is a “temple of the Holy Spirit.” Through Christ, God lives in us. Don’t destroy your body but use it to God’s glory. It was purchased at a high price—with Jesus’ precious body and blood (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
