“Bread Made Without Yeast” - Lent V
Unleavened bread (like a cracker) was a symbol of purity. During the Passover meal Jesus took the bread, broke it, and gave it to his disciples saying, “Take and eat; this is my body” (Matthew 26). The sinless Son of God gave us his pure body (and blood) for our salvation – and calls us to live a pure life.
The Chapel choir is fun and informal with a wide variety of great music, ranging from Bach to Rutter and gospel to African traditions and beyond. We sing once or twice a month on Sundays, and for some Wednesday Vespers worship services. It’s a nice time for fellowship and making friends. For more information please contact John Becker, Chapel’s Choir Director.
