We’re a community of Christians serving students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other Madison colleges.

A kernel of corn will teach us to remember, replant, reap, and rejoice.
How are we to respond to our friends who not only defend homosexuality as morally healthy but also claim one can be a Christian and practice it? A Chapel member who left the gay lifestyle and found peace with Christ will help us explore Scripture to respond to statements like: “I’m born gay and can’t change.” “I have same-sex feelings and I should follow my feelings.” “I’m gay. Jesus loves me and I feel no guilt.”
We’ll be looking at the book Prepared to Answer by Professor Mark Paustian. Books will be provided and anyone can attend! Please contact Todd Wendorf if you have questions.
Hang out with your friends and get a great meal for only two bucks! Optional Bible study afterward.
God, who is holy and sinless, surprises the world by coming into this sinful world as one of us—that’s what the coming of Christ is all about—saving our world from sin and its damning result. Join us for this come-as-you-are, informal half hour worship service.
Thanks to everyone who helped out at Chapel’s fall clean-up day on November 8. You did a great job!
God will continue to bless you as you listen to the New Testament this semester. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). There are more New Testament MP3 CDs available at Chapel on the table in the entryway. Grab one for yourself and share them with your friends.
Set Free is an adult instruction course for those who:
* Are looking for God
* Are curious about what WELS Lutherans believe
* Desire Chapel membership but aren’t members of the WELS
* See life differently from the days of their youth confirmation and want a refresher course on their Lutheran faith
Offered free of charge each semester, this 12-session course takes you through the basics of Christianity, with a Lutheran emphasis on grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone and Christ alone. Comparative theology is welcomed. Contact Pastor Trapp if you’re interested or have questions.
The Chapel choir is fun and informal with a wide variety of great music, ranging from Bach to Rutter and gospel to African traditions and beyond. We sing once or twice a month on Sundays, and for some Wednesday Vespers worship services. It’s a nice time for fellowship and making friends. For more information please contact , Chapel’s Choir Director.
